Clint Bowyer’s 2013 Racing Season Recap
Another great season of racing has come to a close! From different paint schemes on the #15 Toyota Camry to Clint Bowyer participating in Yoga on the Track, 2013 was definitely an exciting season for the 5-hour ENERGY® Racing Team and its fans. Let’s take a look back at Clint’s season:
Clint’s Season By The Numbers
After a season of solid racing, we were excited to watch Clint make it to the post season once again. Clint finished the Chase in 7th place, with 10 Top 5 finishes and 19 Top 10 finishes.
Yoga on the Track
Before the 5-hour ENERGY® Benefiting Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) Nationwide Series race at Dover International Speedway, Clint Bowyer took part in our ‘Yoga on the Track’ event. This event was a spin-off of LBBC’s ‘Yoga on the Steps’ events which are used to help raise breast cancer awareness. During the race at Dover, thousands of NASCAR fans visited the LBBC booth to learn more about the programs and services they provide for women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families.
Different Paint Schemes
There were two new looks for the #15 5-hour ENERGY® Toyota Camry this season! The pink Raspberry paint scheme was debuted at the end of September as part of our effort to increase breast cancer awareness. Clint drove this car at the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway and the 13th Annual Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway. The pink Raspberry paint scheme also helped boost our breast cancer awareness efforts because until December 31, 2013, five cents of each bottle of Raspberry 5-hour ENERGY® sold benefits LBBC.
The second special paint scheme unveiled this season was the Sour Apple Camo car. Clint showed off this design at the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. While this paint scheme was for one race only, it was created to promote our new permanent flavor, Sour Apple Extra Strength 5-hour ENERGY® shot. Which of these paint schemes gets your vote, fans?
We would like to thank Clint Bowyer and the 5-hour ENERGY® Racing Team for another great season of racing! We’re looking forward to what the 2014 season brings!
